A New Regression Model on the Unit Interval: Properties, Estimation, and Application

A new and flexible distribution is introduced for modeling proportional data based on the quantile of generalized extreme value distribution. We obtain explicit expressions moments, quantiles, other structural properties. An extended regression model constructed as an alternative to compete with beta regression. Some simulations from Bayesian perspectives are developed, illustrative application real involving comparison models influence diagnostics also addressed.
